Joyz (Joyce Kusters) was born in a small town near 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, at the the 21th of August 1984. Nearly one year old, she was already 'performing' for everybody who would like to hear and see!

In September 2006 she met Chris van Vliet and DJ Chris, who were working on a dance production called “Can’t Stop Loving You”.
Joyz made a demo of ‘Michel’ by Anouk, and was instantly asked to perform on the CD Single that was released 23th of March 2007 in the Netherlands.

In 2007 and 2008 Joyz worked with several producers, performed some live gigs and experienced some of her passion for singing and music. Already, Joyz wrote some lyrics for ‘Dancing in the night’ (with Tom Beyer), which got worldwide airplay through sellAband. But some bigger projects were coming up. In just one night Joyz wrote ‘How Come’ and ‘Runaway’. Lexikon Music helped her by making the music fit with the lyrics and melody.

The tracks were released in the first trimester of 2008, and caught the eye of 3FM deejay Rob Stenders. He asked Joyz to perform on the nationwide broadcasted radioshow called ‘Stenders Eetvermaak’.
Especially for this performance, Joyz recorded  “I’m Fallin’ For You”Also, written by award winning songwriter Ken Wank from New York. The cooperation with Ken was so good, they decided to work with some other songs as well. Some new songs that Ken wrote will be released in 2009 and 2010.
Besides her solo career, Joyz likes to work with other singers as well. In 2008 she teamed up with Michy (Michelle Lemmens), known from her #1 hitsingle “Starstylers ft Michy – Keep on moving”. The gift of songwriting, feeling for entertainment and beautiful voice that Michy has, gives Joyz a drive to push it just a little harder. Ofcourse, the girls’ personalities match perfectly as well, so a new dance act (Joymi www.joymi.net) ánd a new friendship was born.
